Kenya Maguta Estate
EASY MODE ON: RISE AND SHINE
A washed Kenyan from David Ngibuini’s Maguta Estate. His coffee took first place at the 2024 Best of Kenya, and it’s what Kenya’s barista champion used to place 5th at the 2021 World Barista Championship. The cherries come from the Murware farmers, a tight-knit group growing on red volcanic soil in Central Kenya. They’re washed clean to keep the cup bright and light: Ribena-dark blackcurrant, juicy Peach Rings, and a squeeze of citrus to wake you up. New Worlds is the wild one; this is easy mode, made for slow mornings and the first cup of the day.
