COLOMBIA PITALITO HUILA
Let us introduce you to New Worlds.
A washed Ají from Pitalito, Huila. The variety only got noticed at the 2021 Cup of Excellence, and it has been turning heads ever since. It’s named after the chilli pepper scent the ripe cherries give off, and although it’s sold as a Bourbon, its genes go straight back to Ethiopia. It’s washed clean so all that character comes through: Jaffa-bright orange, a Milky Bar sweetness, and a little jalapeño heat on the finish. Heavy Weight is the everyday; this is the one for palates with a passport.
